Patti A. Kloppenburg

Paulette “Patti” A. Kloppenburg, age 62, passed away unexpectedly at St Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton after a very brief illness on Sunday January, 17, 2010. Patti was born to the late Herbert G. Hess and Dolores L. Hess on April 10, 1947 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, and on June 18, 1966 she married her best friend and soul mate Thomas D. Kloppenburg. Patti was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend. Her passions were sewing, embroidery and baking. She enjoyed using her talents to make gifts for others. She retired in May 2009 from Breadsmith and enjoyed spending her retirement with her husband and family.

She is survived by her husband: Tom Kloppenburg of Appleton; a son: Tim Kloppenburg of Lake Balboa, California; a daughter: Laura (Brian) Voldsness of Menasha; a cherished granddaughter: Jessica Voldsness of Menasha; her mother: Dolores Hess of Appleton; and a sister: Donna Hess of Brookings, South Dakota. She is further survived by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, dearly loved friends including Rudy Balli, and two beloved dogs, Angel and Camry.

Funeral services for Patti will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the funeral home chapel, with Fr. Gerald Falk of St. Thomas More Catholic Church officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again Saturday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.
