Patsy Ann Myers

Patsy Ann Myers, age 88, of Appleton, passed away on May 12, 2024. Patsy was born on September 11, 1935 to Nelson and Leona (Hoier) Nutting.
 
Patsy graduated from Appleton High School and married the love of her life, John Dennis Myers on September 22, 1956 at First United Methodist Church in Appleton. Together they built a loving home where they raised their five children.

Patsy worked as a paraprofessional in the 4K preschool program in the Appleton Area School District for over 15 years. Her commitment to education and love for children shone brightly through her work. Patsy had a profound love for knowledge and mental challenges. She enjoyed reading and completing crossword puzzles, always seeking to expand her horizons and sharpen her mind.
 
Patsy will be dearly missed by her children Lori Spangenberg, Jeff (Lisa) Myers, Linda Myers, Tim (Cheryl) Myers, son-in-law Gary Mulry, grandchildren Jamie (Taylor) Mulry, Justin (Meredith) Mulry, Keena (Kinsey) Myers, Tyler Myers, Trevor (Rachelle) Myers, Aly (Zack) Myers, Caitlyn Myers, great-grandchildren Neveah, Maya, Paisley, Savannah, Levi, Atlas and Wesley, sister Betty Vander Linden as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, daughter Leanne Mulry, her parents, siblings Joyce (Clarence) Deeg, Shirley (Robert) Shrimpf, Daryl (Bette) Nutting, Bonnie Nutting, in-laws Oscar (Ordell) Myers, and brother-in-law Robert Vander Linden.

A visitation for Patsy will be held on May 18, 2024 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Wichmann Funeral Home Tri-County Chapel, 1592 Oneida St. in Menasha, with a Funeral Service to follow at 3:00 PM. Burial to follow at a later date.

In lieu of flowers and other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund will be established. Patsy’s family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Oakridge Gardens, Home Instead, and Thedacare Hospice.
