Patricia Louise Gumbert

Patricia L. Gumbert, 61, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 2, 2023. She was born on June 17, 1961, in Marquette, MI the daughter of Robert and Louise (Armiga) Smith. Patti liked Panda’s, watching procedural police shows, and spending time with friends. She loved her dog, Boomer.

Patti is survived by her three sons: Eric Gumbert, Thomas James “TJ” Gumbert, and Damon Gumbert; her significant other: Joe Wichelt; 3 grandchildren; a sister: Beverly Smith; other relatives and good friends.

Patti was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jeanie Smith.

A private family service will be held for Patti at a later date.

Patti’s family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff at St. Vincent Hospital, Meadowbrook Nursing Home, and Unity Hospice for their care, compassion, and kindness.
