Rozek, Patricia Ann
Patricia A. Rozek, 62, passed away at home on Sunday, July 5th surrounded by her family after losing a battle with cancer. Pat was a gentle soul who loved nature and wildlife and volunteered for many years at Gordon Bubolz Nature Preserve. She also rehabilitated injured birds and mammals for release back into the wild. Pat was the type of person who would take a spider she found in the basement and put it outside rather than step on it. She healed an injured nighthawk and because it was too late for the bird to migrate south, she put the bird on an airplane to Texas to be released by another person. Pat was a very special person with a beautiful smile that could light up the room. She loved nothing more than to walk around her flower garden and explain what each flower was and where or whom she received it from.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother whose death has left a huge hole in the hearts of those who loved her. She is survived by her husband of forty years LeRoy “Lee”, two daughters and son in laws, Adrienne and Hans Bauss of Appleton (grandsons Hunter and August), Angela and Jade Day of Denver, Colorado, brother Joe and Mary Naughton of Tucson, Arizona, two sisters, Roxanna Price and Cheryl Krohn of Phoenix, Arizona, a brother and sister in law, David and Barbara Rozek of Winneconne along with nieces and nephews. Pat has asked to be cremated and a private ceremony will be held by the immediate family. Godspeed on your journey Pat, we all love you very much.
