Nancy Lynn Montanye

Nancy was born as the second child of Clarence Michalkiewicz and Margeret “Peggy” Behrendt Michalkiewicz of Kimberly, WI on June 7, 1950. She passed in her home on December 14, 2025.

Nancy married Ned Montanye of Butch’s Pizza in 1969, and they operated the business for 45 years. She was a talented craft artist, and an amazing cook. Nancy was also a dedicated member of the Kimberly chapter of TOPS for many years.

She loved baking cookies for her beloved nephews and being “Up North” at Mapleview Resort in Conover, WI.

She is recently preceded in death by her husband Ned A “Nedly” Montanye and her sister Julie Michalkiewicz Bergner.

She is survived by her daughter Mandy L Montanye (Siegel), son-in-law Kenneth J Siegel, sisters Shirin Van Grinsven, Michelle Verhagen- DuFrane, and Tammy Michalkiewicz, favorite nephews Ronald Verhagen Jr., Nicholas Michalkiewicz, and Andrew “Chewy” Verhagen, as well as several other nieces and nephews.

Per her request there will be no funeral services.

In lieu of flowers, she requested donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Research

Hospital.
