Nancy Joan Gleason, age 50, passed away peacefully while surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at her home. She was born in Green Bay on March 13, 1966 to Gerald and Mary Ann (West) Gleason. Nancy was raised with her brother and sisters in Menasha. She was an avid Packers, Brewers and Wisconsin sports fan. Nancy also loved to fish and enjoying whipping her fellow residents in Kings Corners. She loved rock n roll music and even had the opportunity to meet Bret Michaels.
Nancy is survived by her mother, Mary Ann Gleason; siblings: Sandra (Kevin) Pagel, Andrew (Joan) Gleason, Randra (Mark) Miller; nieces and nephews: Heather (friend, Manuel) Pagel, Ben (fiance, Jamie) Pagel, Tony Pagel, Melissa and Travis Gleason; great-nieces: Avrey and Deashawna.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Gleason and her great-nephew, Kane.
The funeral service for Nancy will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME-LAEMMRICH CHAPEL (312 Milwaukee St., Menasha). Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to an animal rescue charity of your choosing. Nancy's family encourages you to wear Packers clothing in her honor.
Nancy's family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Generations Hospice and Homecare and REM Anthem Group Home for the care and compassion given to Nancy. Also, thank you to all the friends and family for the cards, prayers and support given to Nancy and her bucket list.
