Nancy L. Frede

NANCY L. FREDE 

Nancy L. Frede, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on January 19, 2024 at Aspire Senior Living in Kimberly, Wisconsin.     

Born on April 13, 1947, in Caledonia Wisconsin, Nancy attended Horlick High School and Gateway Technical College.  She worked at Miller Brewing Company for more than 20 years and served in several positions before retiring as a Consumer Affairs Consultant. 

Nancy loved animals, gardening, dancing and spending the winter months in a warmer climate.  She was a member of ABATE of Wisconsin, VFW Post #6279 Auxiliary, and Women of the Moose Chapter #2362.   

Nancy leaves behind her beloved husband of more than 40 years, two children, Lisa Shier and Brian Willms, two step-sons, Pete Frede and wife Patty, and Mike Frede and wife Karen, grandchildren and step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Lewis and Ruth and Walter Imberger, and step-daughter Cindy Donnelly.  

Nancy passed peacefully with her loving husband and devoted family members by her side.  A graveside service and burial will take place at 11:00 AM on February 17, 2024 at Calvary Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.  The family would like to thank the entire staff of Aspire Senior Living and Compassus Hospice Care.  Arrangements are under the care of Wichmann Funeral Homes and Crematories.
