Mildred A. Sperl, 95, of Greenville passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Kindren Hearts. Mildred was born on August 30, 1917 in the Town of Center to William and Elsie Priem. On August 19, 1939 she married Anton Sperl and together they celebrated 71 years of marriage before he passed away. Mildred loved baking, sewing, gardening and reading. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Mildred is survived by two sons, Donald Sperl of Greenville, and Ralph (Dorothy) Sperl of Greenville; four grandchildren, Michelle (Tim) Scheider, Tammy (Dennis) Coenen, Christine (Stuart) Voelz, and Michael (Monica) Sperl; nine great grandchildren, Morgan, Marshal, Sara, Amber, Luke, Zachary, Marissa, Lauren, and Jarret; one brother-in-law, George Sperl of Menominee Falls; and special friends, Violet and Herb Grube. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother, Wilmer (Barbara) Priem.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 5, 2012 at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME 537 N Superior Street, with Rev. Chuck Fluegel of Zion Lutheran Church officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.
