Michael R. Mueller, age 54, died unexpectedly on October 4, 2010 as a result of an auto accident. Michael was born on August 9, 1956, in Marshfield, to the late Robert and Betty (Oehler) Mueller. He was raised by his grandparents, Cecil and Alice, after his mother died when he was four. Michael attended Abbotsford High School, graduating in 1974. He married Glenna Greene in 1978. They were married for 23 years. On Saturday, October 2, 2010, he was very excited to be married to Kelly Steinborn; he is survived by her. Michael worked as a steal fabricator at Mathfab, LLC. for 22 years. He loved baking, and was known as “The Cookie Man” by his friends and family. Michael loved gardening and canning, and would always share his infamous salsa, pickles, and dilly beans with family and friends. He was very fond of outdoor activities, especially fishing, camping, and hunting. He was also an avid motorcyclist. Michael was best known for being a very generous and giving person, always putting others before himself. He was a father first and foremost, had a great love for his family, and will be greatly missed.
Michael is further survived by former wife, Glenna Mueller; his children, Krystal (Lue) Vang, Amber (Don Anderson) Mueller, Cade Mueller, Logan Mueller, Jonas Steinborn, Tate Mueller, Haidyn Mueller, Kariema Mueller, and Seirra Mueller; five grandchildren, Iziquel, Tsiakai, Pryor, and Azlin Vang, and Deikan Mueller; and three brothers, Wesley, Jeffrey, and Rusty Mueller.
Michael was further preceded in death by his grandparents, Cecil and Alice.
Funeral services for Michael will be at Noon on Friday, October 8, 2010 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL, with the Rev. Chou Xiong officiating. Friends may call on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will take place at Community Lutheran Cemetery, Freedom.
