Michael G. Farragh

Michael “Beans” Gordon Farragh, age 65 of Menasha, WI joined his heavenly kingdom on December 17, 2025, surrounded by his family. Mike was born to Gordon and Eugenia (Ghiardi) Farragh on October 31, 1960 in Ishpeming, MI. After graduating from Ishpeming High School with the class of ‘79, he pursued higher education at UW Stevens Point, eventually transferring and earning a bachelor's degree from Northern Michigan University. Mike worked a couple different jobs throughout the course of his life, but was best known for his work in book printing, eventually retiring from Lakeside Book (formerly Banta) after 35 years. Mike married Khristi Baldwin (Hydorn) in August of 2020 and together, they combined their families into one, wonderful family.

Mike was a loving man with a dad’s sense of humor. He was an outdoorsman, enjoying the simple pleasures of yardwork, gardening, and nature. Mike was a big Packer fan, along with Michigan State Spartans. He played starting guard for coach Tom Izzo during his first coaching job at Ishpeming High School in ’78 – the same year they won conference and district championships. Mike excelled in football, basketball, and track in high school, earning 9 varsity letters. He was a member of the Michigan State Championship in ’75 and the state semi-final football team in ’78. Mike also played as a starter defensive back during his two years at Stevens Point. He enjoyed officiating high school football for 20 years. He loved deer hunting, bird hunting, and daily chats, all with his brother, Dave. Mike’s faith was also very important to him. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Menasha for many years and never missed a mass if he could help it. More than anything, though, Mike loved his family and cherished every moment he spent with the people most important to him. He was so proud of everyone he helped to raise and especially enjoyed all the video chats with his grandkids.

Mike will be deeply missed by his wife and the love of his life, Khristi Farragh; his children, Kaleb (Abby) Farragh, Amber (Trav) Wohlt, and Austin (Brittney) Baldwin; his grandchildren, Hudson, Claire, and Baylon Farragh, Everly and Riley Wohlt, and Isaac Baldwin; his sisters, Elizabeth Farragh and Susan (Marvin) Rivers; his sister-in-law, Gail Farragh; his nieces and nephews, Jonathan (Sarah) Rivers, Danny (Crystal) Rivers, Christine (Justin) Winkler, Tony (Charlotte) Farragh, and Megan (fiancé Wade DeLonge) Farragh; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jameson, Emma, Elly, Ava, Amelia, Harper, Weston, and Jack; as well as other extended relatives and dear friends.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Eugenia Farragh; his brother, David Farragh; and his niece and Goddaughter, Erin Farragh.

A funeral visitation will be held for Mike from 9-11 AM on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 2nd St, Menasha, WI 54952 with a mass to follow at 11 AM. Mike will be laid to rest at St. John Cemetery on Olde Midway Road in Menasha, WI. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Erin’s House for Grieving Children in honor of Mike’s wishes.
