Maxine Ann St. Cyr

Maxine Ann (Skibba) St. Cyr, 74, passed away on October 8, 2021 at St Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. She was born July 25, 1947 in Wisconsin Rapids to Clifford and Alice (Mancl) Skibba. Maxine attended Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln High School and after graduation acquired her cosmetology license.

Throughout her career Maxine was a dedicated employee at Appleton Valley School Supply and Marsh Electronics.  She took great pride in owning the Blue Max bar and grill.

Maxine was a big Jeff Gordon fan and relished time spent with her brothers watching NASCAR races. She also loved watching the Packers and attending local concerts and events.

Maxine is survived by her son Brian (Amy) St. Cyr, grandchildren Brandon St. Cyr, Aaron St. Cyr, Preston St. Cyr and Jaden Jungwirth; Brothers Jack (Elaine) Skibba, Robert Skibba, sister Judy (Eric) Cerbins and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Maxine was preceded in death by her daughter Deanna St. Cyr and brother Richard (Daria) Skibba.

Per the family’s wishes no services will be held at this time. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful caregivers at St Elizabeth Hospital for their compassion and dedication.
