Maurine Ann Mauthe

Maurine Ann Mauthe (Van Weele), 95, passed away on October 12, 2021. She was born to Marinus and Marie Van Weele on January 19, 1926, in Grand Haven, Michigan. Maurine married Sylvester “Mouse” Mauthe on September 3, 1949, at St. Joseph’s in Appleton. They shared 62 loving years together until his passing in 2012.

Maurine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her family. She was also an avid Packers fan.

Maurine was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester; daughter, Mary Lynn; brother, Bill; and parents, Marinus and Marie.

She is survived by her children, Barbara, David (Annette), Kathy (Greg), and Janet (John); sister, Mary Jane; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A mass will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Sacred Heart Parish, 222 E. Fremont St, Appleton. There will be a visitation prior to the mass from 9 AM – 11 AM.
