MaryAnn Harry, age 65, passed away peacefully at her home July 10, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones after a courageous 3 year battle with cancer.
MaryAnn was born in Dayton, Ohio on April 21,1959 to her parents Reino and Dorothy (Herrala) Timonen. She grew up in Tapiola, Michigan. She enjoyed painting rocks, gardening, taking walks, and most of all spending time with her family. Maryann's happiness in life came from seeing the joy in her family.
On March 22,1978 she married Donald F. Harry and they moved to Oregon. There she spent 7+ years with Masonic and Eastern Star Home. They had 3 children and then moved to Appleton to be closer to the family In the U.P. in Appleton she worked as a CNA for Brewster Village putting in 30+ years until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years Donald F. Harry, her parents Reino and Dorothy Timonen, and her brother Daniel Timonen.
She is survived by her 3 children - Jesse(Melissa) Harry of Combined Locks Wi, Amber Harry of Appleton WI and Brittany(Jay) Eisenhauer of Appleton WI. She is survived by her 7 grandchildren whom she cherished dearly. Kendall Condon, and Dreysen Harry, Olivia and Benjamin Harry, and Esmeralda, Orlando, And Yondell Orozco. She is survived by the biggest joy of her life, her great grandson River Kappell (son of Kendall Condon). Maryann is also survived by 2 brothers, Mark (Ruth) Timonen of Tapiola MI, And Timothy (Karen) Timonen of Tapiola MI. She is also survived by 2 sisters Susanna (Tim) Gaffin of Grand Rapids MI, and Rebekah (Rick) Kasprzak of Calumet MI and her sister-in-law Kathy Timonen of Texas. She is also survived by many other relatives.
Private funeral services will be held July 22nd 11 a.m at Wichmanns funeral home tri-county chapel on South Oneida street in Appleton. Burial following at Riverside Cemetery in Appleton.
We will miss MaryAnn more than she could ever realize. She devoted her life to her family, and was extremely proud to be a mother, grandmother, and a great grandmother. She was someone you could count on for anything. MaryAnn always had a positive outlook on life despite her circumstances and would remind everyone that each day was a gift. She was a blessing to everyone that came into her life, and she will continue to be loved by so many.
The family would like to thank the Thedacare hospice team, especially her nurse Ben for the outstanding support, love and care that was shown to Maryann and the family.
