Mary Nabbefeld

Mary J. Nabbefeld, age 66, of Appleton, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2013. She was born on September 28, 1946, in Appleton, the daughter of the late Martin and Eleanor (VanLandghen) VanVonderen. Mary graduated from Appleton West High School in 1964 and retired from Appleton Papers in Combined Locks.

She is survived by her son, Troy Nabbefeld; a niece, Laurie Gonnering; and a dear friend Darlene Vande Voort.. Mary was preceded in death by her sister, Sally Gonnering-Nettekoven and brother, Martin “Butch” VanVonderen.

The memorial service for Mary will be held at 5:00 pm on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the Wichmann Funeral Home downtown chapel. Chaplain Jordan Kuczwara will be officiating. A time of gathering will be on Thursday from 4:00 pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established. Online condolences can be offered at www.wichmannfargo.com.
