Mary Kathryn Faust

Mary Kathryn Faust passed from present life to eternal life on the morning of June 26, 2023. She was born on September 17, 1936, in Kaukauna, Wisconsin. 

 

Mary attended Kaukauna High School and Lawrence University. She had a great love for the arts and was gifted in her creativity. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed skiing, boating and camping with her family. She was also a gourmet cook and exceptional baker. 

 

She was married on October 11, 1958, to the late Louis Edward Faust. Mary and Louis partook in various charitable organizations, among them were the King’s Daughters, Elk’s Club and Jaycee’s. They were incredibly hospitable and enjoyed opening up their home to family and friends on various occasions throughout the year and especially Christmas Eve. 

 

She is survived by her children Louis W. (Barbara) Faust, Charles (Wendy) Faust, Kathryn (Michael) Wichman and Richard Faust; grandchildren Louis J. Faust, Lauren Faust, Amelia Wichman, Maria Wichman and Alexandra Faust. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ann Hartzheim, sister, Virginia Vandenberg and her husband, Louis E. Faust. 

 

The family would like to thank ProMedica for the wonderful end of life support they provided. Per Mary’s wishes, there will not be a wake or funeral service, just a small gathering for immediate family.
