Mary C. Wilson

Mary Catherin Wilson, age 80, passed away Monday, July 24th, at Touchmark, Appleton, WI where she resided for 13 years. She was born December 5, 1942 in Waupun, WI; daughter of the late Harold and Henrietta (Fritzie) McGinnis. She graduated Appleton High School in 1961 and held many secretary/personal assistant positions, as she gathered numerous lifelong friends. She was married to Tom Wilson and they remain best of friends sharing many special moments and travels together. Mary will be remembered for her love of travel, writing, reading, and playing games. She is a member of St Mary’s Catholic Church.

Mary is survived by her brothers John (Maribeth) McGinnis, Brookfield, WI, and Patrick McGinnis, Appleton, WI, Special friend Tom Wilson, Brookfield, WI, and her brother-in-law Terry Noack, Appleton, WI. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and Special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Kathy Noack.

A memorial visitation will be held for Mary from 10-11 AM on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 312 S. State St, Appleton, WI 54911 with a funeral service without mass to follow at 11 AM.  Mary will be laid to rest at St. Mary Cemetery in Appleton.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated to St Mary’s Catholic Church, 312 S State St. Appleton, WI.
