Age 84 passed away from cancer on Thursday November 20, 2008 at her home with her family at her side and in the care of Theda Care at Home Hospice. Mary was born in Spring Lake, New York on November 28, 1923 daughter of the late Maurice and Elizabeth (Barnard) Conroy. Mary attended St. Joe's Catholic School in Syracuse, New York, and in 1931 moved with her parents to Green Bay where her dad became supervisor of Shefford Cheese Co. She graduated from Green Bay East High School in 1942. She was then employed by Kopps Restaurant, bakery, and candy store for three years and Naus Clothing Store until she married A. George Rozmarynoski on April 27, 1946 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Pine Grove. Mary was a loving and caring wife and mother and enjoyed gardening, sewing, needle work and embroidery. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 1/2 years, A. George; a son David (Sue), of Appleton; two grandchildren, Abraham Rozmarynoski, and Katie (J.P.) Fleming; three great-grandchildren; Sam, Max and Wyatt. She is also survived by two brothers, Donald, and Charles Conroy, and a sister-in-law, Clara Siporski, and other relatives and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her son Daniel and three brothers-in-law, John Siporski and Edward and Raymond Rozmarynoski.
The Funeral Mass for Mary will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH, 222 E. FREMONT ST. APPLETON, with Fr. Robert Karuhn officiating. Visitation will be in the Sacred Heart Room at Church from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. A memorial is being established.
