Marvin Lewis Schuettpelz, passed away on November 24, 2024, at Heartwood Homes Assisted Living. Marv was born on May 22, 1938, in Menominee County, WI. He was the son of Gustav and Ruby (Gardebrecht) Schuettpelz.
Marv attended and graduated from Suring High School. He worked at various cheese factories. He worked at Simon’s Specialty Cheese in Little Chute for thirty-six and a half years. He was a licensed cheese maker and took pride in his work.
Marv married the love of his life Virginia A. Hahn on January 16, 1982. Together they enjoyed life to its fullest. Most of all Marv loved being at their cottage on Washington Lake. He also enjoyed and had fun deer hunting on their land in Oconto County. Marv and Ginny were fortunate to vacation in Hawaii several times.
Marv was a happy man and tried to lead a good Christian life. He accepted life and was good to others no matter what life handed him.
Marv is survived by his loving wife Ginny; son Mark (Patty) and their daughter Isabel; daughter Robin Schuettpelz. He is further survived by his siblings: Sande (Marlin) Wegner, Iris Ottman, Wilmer (Kathy) Schuettpelz, Harlan (Judy) Schuettpelz, Vernon (Sue) Schuettpelz, and Renae (Mike) Steffeck. In addition, he is survived brothers-in-law: Raymond (Marje) Hahn and Donald Hahn; sister-in-law Beverly Hahn as well as by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews as well as many cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Howard; sister Eleanor (Melvin) Scheer; brother-in-law Richard Hahn and sisters-in-law Dorothy (Merlin) Hegge and Sally Hahn.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday November 30, 2024, at 11:00am at Wichmann Funeral Home-Tri County Chapel, 1592 S Oneida St, Appleton. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home from 9:30am until the service begins. Marv will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
