Marvin P. Griesbach

Passed away at home with his family by his side on Tuesday November 13, 2018 at the age of 86, and now is at peace in his heavenly home. Marv was born Oct. 1, 1932 in Appleton, Wisconsin to Joseph and Marie Griesbach. Marv was a long-time cabbage farmer and volunteer at the Grand Chute Fire Department before he retired from the Outagamie County Highway Department. Marv was in a bowling league where was active until the age of 84.

Marv is survived by his wife of 57 years Myrna. Father of Cindy (Dan) Hertzberg, Kathy Griesbach, Jane (David) Hameister, Nick Griesbach, Barb Kunstman, Kristy (Bill) Stueber, and Amy Larson. Further survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren that he adored dearly.

Marv is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Shirley (Oscar) Brooks, Elaine (Isadore) Reis and Melvin (Audrey) Griesbach.

Funeral liturgy will be held on Friday November 16, 2018 at St. Pius Catholic Church, 500 W, Marquette Street, at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held at the church from 11:00 AM until time of services. Private interment at St Joseph’s Cemetery. The family would like to extend a thank you to Becca and Karen from Heartland Hospice for their care of Marv.
