Marvin M Braun, Kimberly, was called to his eternal resting place on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. The day after his 88th birthday.

Marvin was born in Wabeno, WI on June 16,1937 to the late Amanda (Rietz) and Earl Braun. After graduating in 1957, he worked at Schlafke’S Bakery in town, until September 1957 when he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force being discharged May 1962. After service, he worked as a mechanic at Sasnowski Pontiac-Kaukauna and Tusler Pontiac-Appleton. Later to be employed as forklift operator at Riverside Paper Company for 34 years.

In November 1963, married Cherryl Reinke only to later divorce. In September 1978, married Jean Derus, only to divorce later. In September 1992, he married Eleanore (Amy)(nee Amond) Henkel, who proceeded him in death April 1997.

Through the years, he has enjoyed woodworking, coin/stamp collecting, puzzles, line dancing, archery, fishing, Genealogy and playing cards with Verna. He treasured being in the outdoors especially at the cottage on Trump Lake in Wabeno where he grow up. He will be remembered for his faithfulness, his eye for the ladies and his enjoyment of different social activities.

Marv is survived by his children: Susan(Marty) Evers, Appleton; Todd Braun, Norman, OK; Sandra(Lee) Hughes, Attomattox, VA; Michelle(Jeff) Froehlich, Neenah and Ryan Braun, Oregon. Special friend Verna Hibbard. Stepchildren: Blaine, Larry, Kent, Terrell Henkel and their families. Grandchildren: Deshonda Kelly, James Kelly, Martin Evers Jr(fiancée Josie Troullier), Justine Braun(Brandon Kinnard), Jordan Braun. Stepgrandchildren: Becca (Gerid) Garvens, Michael (Alicia) Evers, Rachael Evers and Lily Sexton. 9 great grandchildren.

He is further survived by his brother Douglas (Donna) Braun, Annandale, VA, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, wife Eleanore, sister and brother-in-law Lois and Tony Rios.

In Lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Marvin’s memory to the American Heart Association, The National Kidney Foundation or Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

The family would like to send a Very Special Thank You to the many staff and caregivers at St Paul’s Elder Services whom took care of Dad. As well as the staff at ThedaCare Appleton.

Visitation will be held, Friday, June 27, 2025 at Bethany Lutheran Church (124 W 10th Street, Kaukauna) beginning at 9:00am-10:45am. Service to follow at 11:00am with Rev. Rod Krueger officiating, Burial to follow lunch in Union Cemetery.
