Martin Joseph Pavich, 79, passed away on August 26, 2026, with his two sons by his side. He was born on September 12, 1946, in Neenah, WI, the son of Joseph and Edna (Hansen) Pavich.

Marty devoted his life to his family. He never missed a game, concert, graduation, or gathering, and he showed up with a smile and a story every time. Over the years, he enjoyed golfing with friends, walleye fishing, and taking long drives with Cathy — the two of them happy to go wherever the road took them. Marty worked for N&M Transfer for many years, logging more than three million miles behind the wheel and forming friendships that lasted a lifetime.

Marty is survived by his sons, Josh (Lisa) and Casey; his grandchildren, Izzie, Julianna, Olivia, Kellen, Owen, and Kendall; and his brother, Mike (Margaret) Pavich.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Cathy, and his parents, Joseph and Edna (Hansen) Pavich.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Marty will be laid to rest at St. Mary Cemetery in Menasha, WI.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at Oak Park Place Senior Living Community and to the nursing staff on the 4th Floor at St. Elizabeth Hospital for their genuine care and compassion.

To Dad: We miss your wit, your humor, and your never‑ending love. We miss your “Yo!” when you answered the phone and your “Wasssup” when we picked up — but especially the “Love ya, man” when we hung up. We miss the notes, the birthday cards with two‑dollar bills, your loud whistle at every game, rolling “the shake” with you, the sweet messages written on gum wrappers, and even the gum wrappers you rolled up and tossed onto our carpets. You taught your grandkids to “be kind and keep smiling,” and we always left you with a honk and a wave. You taught us that family is what matters most, and we will carry that forward for you. Give Mom a big hug and kiss from all of us. We miss you, and we love you.
