Mark Alan
Potter
Jan 5, 1953 — Oct 27, 2026
Neenah, WI
Mark Alan Potter, 73, passed away on October 27, 2026, at Oakridge Gardens, Menasha. He was born on January 5, 1953, in Danville, Illinois. In his younger years he enjoyed salmon fishing, ice fishing, boating, motorcycle riding, many family camping adventures, sledding and so much more. Mark had a love of horticulture that led him to obtain a degree in horticulture and ultimately being a landscaper for 30 years. His love of plants was shared with people freely and his family will always be able to spot a Ginko Biloba tree because of him. Dads love for plants showed his ability to grow tomato plants taller than himself. He truly enjoyed sharing his tomato harvest with everyone he knew. After his son went into the service, he needed a career shift and switched to driving a concrete truck. Mark also had a passion for cooking and baking. He enjoyed hosting all the holiday meals for us and sharing his baked goods with friends and family.
Mark is survived by his daughter: Tracy (Nate); former wife: Margie; sisters: Marlene (Tom), Cheryl (Jack), and Charlene: special friend: Lana; grandchildren: Coltin, Zeke & Chloe.
Mark was preceded in death by his son: Christopher; mother: Shirley (Elwood); and grandparents: Ray & Bernice.
A Celebration of life will be held at Lucky Dogz, 157 S. Green Bay Rd., Neenah at a date to be determined for friends and family to raise a glass to his memories.
