Obituary

Mark Donnermeyer, 77, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King.

Mark was born on September 7, 1948, in Appleton, Wisconsin, the son of Dorothy and John Donnermeyer. He grew up and lived in Kaukauna where he attended St. Mary grade school and Kaukauna High School. He served in the Army from 1968 to 1970, during which time he served in Viet Nam. After returning from military service Mark was employed at Appleton Papers for nearly 40 years until his retirement in 2008.

Mark was a kind and caring person who never said no to anyone who needed a hand. He was a caregiver to his parents and first wife, Linda as well as other family members and friends. He was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Pickerel. Mark enjoyed being with family and friends, his home on Crane Lake, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, riding his ATV with friends, NASCAR, traveling, Bud Light and country music. While he was a true Wisconsite, he had one significant flaw in that he was a diehard Chicago Bears fan.
