Mark Anthony Brown, age 72, of Kaukauna, WI, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2026.
Born on September 2, 1954, to Elaine and John Brown, Mark grew up alongside six siblings. Mark had memorable red hair, ice-blue eyes, and a subtle, wry smile.
Professionally, Mark was a machine tool rebuilder for over 30 years. He is remembered fondly for his exceptional craftsmanship and dedication to careful precision. When Mark was younger, he loved his job as a bartender at Van Abel’s in Hollandtown, where he met his wife, Lois. Mark and Lois were married in 1992, and shared 46 years together.
Mark was an avid collector of tools and could often be found puttering around in his garage or basement, listening to sports or the news. His interests included current events, history, gardening, cooking, sampling cuisine, and learning how things work.
Mark is survived by his wife, Lois, and their two spoiled dogs, Millie and Jeri; his siblings, Perry (Cheri) Brown, Cathy (Mark) Matask, Becky Brown, Lisa Kieffer, Tom (Sharon) Brown, and Brian Brown; Lois’ siblings, Sandy Jasper, Peg (John) Roberts, Paula (Al) Zarenko, James (Theresa) School, Michael (Wendy) School, and Jerry School (deceased); his stepchildren, Jody Bangart and Jill Hegy; his grandchildren, Eli, Kinsey, and Tyler Hegy, Alix (Ethan) Rohr, and Delainy Szmyd (honorary); and many extended family members and beloved friends.
Per Mark’s wishes, there will be no service. Shared memories and photos on this page are welcome.
