Dear sister and loving aunt, age 85, of Appleton, passed away at Cherry Meadows in Appleton on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 from cancer. She was born in Appleton on March 20, 1924, the daughter of the late James and Martha (Totzke) Thomas. Marion was an avid fan of the Milwaukee Brewers, Wisconsin Badgers, and the Green Bay Packers.

Marion is survived by two brothers: H.J. “Duke” Thomas and James (Nancy) Thomas, both of Appleton; and four sisters: June (Bill) Farquhar of Appleton, Jean (Ron) Wenninger of Kaukauna, Jan (Larry) Van Boxtel of Prior Lake, MN, and Linda (Carl) Hauser of Menasha; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Daniel Thomas.

Per Marion's wishes, she will be cremated and burial will take place in Appleton Highland Memorial Park.
