Marilynn Lynn Torrison

Marilynn (Lynn) Torrison of Appleton, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 13, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born on October 18, 1943 in Manitowoc, Wi to John and Mary (Spindler) Torrison. She grew up in Manitowoc until attending high school at Ferry Hall in Lake Forest IL. She graduated from the University of AZ with a degree in psychology and later earning her master’s degree in psychology from the University of Santa Monica. 

Lynn loved life and felt blessed with wonderful family & many friends. She enjoyed volunteering, travel, golf, dominos, reading, having a good laugh, but her greatest joy was spending time with her granddaughters. 

She is survived by her daughter Danielle (Jim) Marks of Appleton, beloved granddaughters Helena and Julia. A son Scott Deppisch of Charlotte, NC. A brother John (Del) Torrison of Manitowoc and special niece Leigh (Mike) Duescher of Manitowoc.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, William (Bill) Torrison of Manitowoc. 

Lynn also leaves behind family including special cousins and many friends.

A celebration of life is being planned for spring 2023.
