Marie Shotola, 99, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, March 03, 2010 at Brewster Village. Marie was born on November 22, 1910 to the late Madeline and Joseph Trinko in Germany. Marie is survived by a son James Treiber, Appleton, and 3 grandchildren; Tracy M. Treiber, Marquette, MI, Timothy Treiber, Appleton, and John Daul, Ohio, great grandchildren; Justin and Jessie Daul, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Marie was preceded in death by her husbands, Arnold Treiber and Ralph Shotola, one sister and 4 brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at St. Mary's Catholic Church (312 S. State St. Appleton) at 10:30 AM with Fr. Larry Abler officiating. Friends may call on Saturday from 9:30 AM until the time of services at the Church. Entombment will be in the Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
