Marie Agnes "Re" Liesch

Marie “Re” Agnes Liesch, 98, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021, with her family by her side. She was born on March 7, 1923, in Neenah, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Koslowski) Mottl. Marie was united in marriage to Sylvester “Sonny” Liesch on August 10, 1946, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Menasha, and he preceded her in death on September 14, 2005. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading, cooking, and baking. She will be remembered most for her time spent with her grandson and great grandson.

Marie is survived by her daughter: Kathy (Tim) Noffke; a grandson: Joseph (Tiffany); a great grandson: Oliver; other relatives and friends.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and siblings: Edward (Rita) Mottl and Lucille “Mabel” (Ed) Nash.

Private family services will be held. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Menasha.
