Margery L. Gibbons, age 94, passed away peacefully, at Copperstone Assisted Living, on Tuesday, July 7, 2026. Margery was born on December 12, 1931, to Hugo and Hilda (Louis) Weber, in Beaver Dam. She was a graduate of Beaver Dam High School and Beaver Dam School of Business. She was the lead majorette for the Beaver Dam High School Band for three of the four years she was in school, something she was very proud of. Immediately after Business School, Marge went to work as a secretary for Thorp Finance in Beaver Dam, where she met the dashing Miles E. Gibbons. Her career as a secretary was short-lived, as they were married in December of 1952. Margery and Miles enjoyed 63 years of married life together until Miles passed on December 29, 2015. Marge worked as a housewife and mother to her four children. She very much enjoyed sewing and knitting, golfing, and bridge several times each week.

She will be sadly missed by her children: Sandra (Mark) Vollbrecht, Dawn Schulz, Michelle (Dean) Kappell, and Michael (Carla) Gibbons; grandchildren: Kelly Vollbrecht, Kempton Freeman, Andrew Kappell, Lydia (Tyler) Buchanan, Alexa Mueller, and Ashley Christal; great-grandchildren: Harlin Freeman and Brynn Kappell; great-great-grandchild: Lukas Buchanan; as well as many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two sisters: Dorothy Kutcher and Shirley Lambrecht.

A private family service will be held.
