Margaret D. (Young) Krueger, age 90, of Greenville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 23, 2025 after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s.
Margaret was born on February 6, 1935, and spent her childhood on the family farm with her parents and siblings. She received her education in New London. While working, Margaret met the love of her life, Gilbert “Gib” Krueger. It was love at first sight, and they were married on October 19, 1961. Together, Margaret and Gib shared 49 wonderful years, raising five children and building a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure.
Family was Margaret’s greatest joy. She adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, cherishing holidays and family gatherings. She loved tending her gardens, preserving the harvest through canning and freezing, and took pride in her beautiful flowers. Margaret was also a devoted fan of the Wisconsin Badgers and the Green Bay Packers.
She and Gib enjoyed Sunday drives, often stopping at antique shops and ice cream parlors. Their shared love of travel took them to every state in the U.S., as well as Great Britain, Mexico, and Canada. For many years, they wintered in Arizona and Texas, creating lasting memories together.

Mom/Grandma – you were the best mother/grandma our family could ask for. We will always cherish the love and memories you provided us. While we didn’t want to lose you, we know you’re with dad/grandpa for eternity now, as it should be. We love you forever, Todd, Lynne & Tia.
Mom, you leave behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and unconditional love. Although your no longer with us, your spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew her. Love Jeff & Trudy
