Age 90, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2011. She was born in Appleton on August 6, 1920 the daughter of the late Louis and Minnie (Heling) Peotter. Marcella graduated from Appleton High School in 1939. She worked at Kimberly Clark for 34 years, retired in 1976, and was a proud member of the quarter century club. Marcella was active in her church including: United Methodist Women, Ora et Labora and Berean Bible classes. Marcella was a member of Woman's Relief Corp and was a state Jr. Vice President in 1990. She held many offices in the Rebekah Lodge and was many times a Noble Grand. She held all district offices and was Deputy President for 2 years.

Marcella is survived by her nephew, Thomas (Kathy) Peotter; nieces: Barbara (James) Reynolds, Kristine (Bill) Foth and Sandra (Joe) Male. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers: Russell and Franklin.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St., Appleton, with Rev. Mark Geisthardt officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
