Marcelino M. "Marce" Wittman

Marcelino (Marce) Wittman, 62, passed away with his family by his side on Sunday, October 31, 2021, after a two and a half year battle with prostate cancer. He was born on November 13, 1958, to Olga Wittman and the late LeRoy Wittman. Marce graduated from Appleton East High School in 1977. Five years later, he met the love of his life, Michelle Wittman, and they married in 1985. Together they built the life and family they always dreamed of. Marce worked at Independent Printing as a Die Cutter for 30 years. He loved his job and never missed an opportunity to point out things he saw in the community that he had made at work. When Marce was not working, you could often find him in the garage helping his son, Matthew, work on his race car or at Wisconsin International Raceway on Thursday nights. He also enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, the Packers and his many woodworking projects. Marce was most notably known for his sarcastic sense of humor and hilarious one-liners.

Marce is survived by his wife of 36 years: Michelle Wittman; three children: Mandy Wittman, Michelle (Benjamin) Grobe and Matthew (Katelyn) Wittman; a grandson: Axel Grobe; a granddaughter on the way: Kaylee Wittman; his mother: Olga Wittman;  three brothers: Mark (Bonnie) Wittman, John Wittman and Daniel (Fema) Wittman; a sister: Heidi Schilt; a father-in-law: Gary Bowman; a brother-in-law: Clayton (Julie Koga) Bowman; nieces and nephews: Heather, Stacy, Sarah, Greta, Orlando, Dakota, Jessica and Jeremy; his best friend: Paul Mainville; and many other aunts, uncles, family and friends.

Marce was preceded in death by his father: LeRoy Wittman; niece: Kayla Wittman, mother-in-law Judith Bowman; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

A Funeral Service for Marce will be officiated at 6 PM on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Wichmann Funeral Home, 1592 Oneida St.,Menasha, WI 54952. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home from 4 PM until the time of the service.

Marce’s family would like to thank Dr. Palla and the staff at Ascension Oncology, the many nurses at Compassus Hospice, and the numerous friends, co-workers and family who have supported their family during Marce’s battle with cancer.
