Lynne C. Rudolph, age 48, died unexpectedly from a stroke at her home in South Dakota. She was born October 17, 1961 in Berkeley, California, daughter of Robert L. and Barbara (Beaman) Rudolph. Lynne graduated from Neenah High School in 1980 and was a graduate of UW – LaCrosse with a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health. After college, she lived in Chicago, managed a health club, was a beauty consultant for Clinique, was a manager for Aveda, and attended nursing school. She was always learning! Lynne was also a classical piano student for years, was an outstanding competitive swimmer, and loved distance running. She had two passions: cooking and creating nutritional foods and becoming a self-taught cosmetologist. Lynne loved her family, her friends, Tucker, and Popcorn.
She is survived by her mother: Barbara Rudolph of Appleton; her father: Robert Rudolph of Naples, Florida; her sister: Joanne Rudolph of Rapid City, South Dakota; her brother: David (Maureen) Rudolph of Sheboygan and their children Emily and Nicholas; a lifetime family friend: Roger Sundblom; a family friend: Ken Simpson; an uncle: Bob (Lynna) Beaman of Heber City, Utah and their children Judy, Doug, and Rana. Lynne was preceded in death by her grandparents: D. Robert and Francis Beaman and William and Eleanor Rudolph.
A memorial service for Lynne will be held at 4:30 PM on Friday, December 4, 2009 at FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 108 W. Doty Avenue in Neenah, with Rev. Bob Hays officiating. The family will greet friends and relatives at the conclusion of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund to honor Lynne has been established.
