Luis Manuel Vera, known to all who loved him as “Mane”, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025, after a quiet and personal battle with depression.

Mane was the kind of person everyone felt lucky to know. He was kind, soft-spoken, and always ready to lend a hand – no questions asked. In his younger years, he found joy in playing the guitar and being part of the church choir’s band. He had a deep love for soccer and a natural talent for building things, which led to a lifelong career in construction.

He was a calm and gentle soul. He carried himself with quiet strength and a generous heart. Mane worked tirelessly to provide for his family and to be a present, loving father to his three boys – Ricky, Erick, and Alex – whom he loved with all his heart.

Though he may be gone, Mane’s memory will live on in every life he touched. He leaves behind a space no one else can fill – a silence we will carry with us always. But along with that silence, we carry his love, his smile, his kindness, and everything he gave to this world.

We pray that he has finally found the peace he needed. And we hope he knew, even in his darkest moments, how deeply loved and valued he was, and that his life was a true gift to all of us.

Mane, you mattered. You always did. And you always will.

There will be an evening visitation at Jansen Fargo Funeral Home: 204 E Kimberly Ave, Kimberly WI 54136 from 5-8pm on Friday June 27.

Luis Manuel Vera, conocido por todos los que lo amaban como “Mane”, falleció el domingo 15 de junio de 2025, después de una lucha silenciosa y muy personal contra la depresión.

Mane fue el tipo de persona que todos se sentían afortunados de conocer. Era amable, de voz suave, y siempre dispuesto a ayudar — sin hacer preguntas. En su juventud, encontraba alegría en tocar la guitarra y en formar parte del grupo musical del coro de la iglesia. Sentía un profundo amor por el fútbol y tenía un talento natural para construir, lo que lo llevó a dedicar su vida al trabajo en la construcción.

Era un alma tranquila y bondadosa. Se conducía con una fuerza silenciosa y un corazón generoso. Mane trabajó incansablemente para proveer a su familia y para ser un padre presente y amoroso para sus tres hijos — Ricky, Erick y Alex — a quienes amó con todo su corazón.

Aunque ya no esté con nosotros, la memoria de Mane vivirá en cada vida que tocó. Deja un vacío que nadie más podrá llenar — un silencio que llevaremos siempre con nosotros. Pero junto a ese silencio, también llevamos su amor, su sonrisa, su bondad, y todo lo que compartió con este mundo.

Rezamos para que por fin haya encontrado la paz que tanto necesitaba. Y esperamos que haya sabido, incluso en sus momentos más oscuros, lo profundamente amado y valioso que era, y que su vida fue un verdadero regalo para todos nosotros.
