Lucille Weiss

Died Tuesday July 31, 2001. She was born to the late Elmer and Constance (Sausser) Harmon in Havensville, KS. She married Edward Weiss on August 16, 1938 in Hutchinson, KS. Lucille worked for the H. G. Prange and Appleton Wire Works for many years.
She lived in Seneca, KS, Chicago, IL and Woodstock, IL before moving to Appleton in 1951. In her earlier years, she was active in Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts and was a member of the Girl Scout Camping Committee and helped in the building of Winnecomac Camp.
She was a member of the Ladies Elks Bowlers, Valley Rock and Mineral Club and Charter Member of Paper Valley Breakaways, the Good Sam Club. Lucille enjoyed traveling in the family motor home with her husband.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Weiss; two sons, Donald (Nancee) Weiss and Ralph (Judy); a daughter, Bonita (Ron) Beduhn; two grandchildren, Scott Beduhn and his daughter, Bailey and Todd (Stacy) Beduhn; two brothers, Roland (Harmon) and Theodore (Elaine) Harmon; and one sister, Velma (Russ) Niemeier; and six nephews.
She was preceded in death by a beloved grandson, Kurt Weiss.
A Memorial Service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, August 4, 2001 at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, 537 North Superior Street, Appleton.
A memorial is being established in Lucille’s name.
The family would like to thank Affinity Hospice for the love and compassion they gave Lucille.
