VANEVENHOVEN, LOUISE I.
Louise Vanevenhoven, age 89, of Menasha, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2009 at her home. She was born on May 7, 1920 in Menasha, the daughter of the late John and Helen (Wysocki) Marsh. Louise married Wilfred Vanevenhoven on December 13, 1938 in Dubuque, Iowa. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and International Library of Poetry. Writing was one of her greatest interests, along with sewing and poetry.
Louise is survived by her children: Gary (Mary) Vanevenhoven, Appleton; Darlene (Tim) Vande Hey, Wrightstown; Sandy (Mike) Coffey, Kaukauna and Mary (Rick) Babler, Appleton and her daughter-in-law: Nancy Vanevenhoven, Combined Locks. She is further survived by 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Louise was preceded in death by her husband Wilfred, son Bruce Vanevenhoven, grandson Brian Vanevenhoven and her sister Leone (Lloyd) Hewitt.
The funeral liturgy for Louise will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna with Father Tom Pomeroy officiating. Burial will take place at the parish cemetery. The visitation will be held on Wednesday at the Fargo Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm and again at the church on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of mass. Memorials are appreciated to the American Cancer Society.
