Lorraine Hubbard, 84, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Sterling House, in Neenah. Lorraine was born on November 7, 1925 to Erman and Martha Herrald in Minneapolis. On September 17, 1943 she married Albert Hubbard in Minneapolis. Lorraine was a wonderful loving person who loved to entertain. Her doors were always open to family and friends and she was a caretaker to many, even in her later years she was always there with a hug or smile to welcome you. Lorraine will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a member of the Neenah congregation of the Jehovah's Witness.
Lorraine is survived by her daughter; Kathleen (Warren) Merkel of the Town of Menasha; her son Michael (Gail) Hruska, Helena, MT; grandchildren: Devin (Alicia) Merkel of Pasadena, CA; Brendt Merkel of Neenah, Jessica (Timothy) Olson of the Town Menasha; Greg Hruska, Bruce Hruska and Robin Hruska and two great grandchildren, Steele and Reid. She is further survived by her brother Richard Herrald, Minneapolis; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a brother, Russell Herrald, and a sister Lilah.
A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at 4:30 PM at the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall (1209 Cty Trk JJ, Neenah). A visitation will be held from 4 PM until the time of the services at the Kingdom Hall.
The family would like to express a special thank you to all those who showed support and concern for Lorraine and her family.
