Loris L. "Lori" Hischke

Lori L. Hischke, age 55, of Shiocton, was called to her eternal home on Friday, September 6, 2013. She was born September 15, 1957 in Weyauwega, the daughter of Robert and Phyllis (Rosenberg) Backer. This July, Lori celebrated 36 years of wedded bliss with her husband Stan.
Lori shared her friendly, open, giving personality with all she met, and touched the lives of those around her. She will be remembered for her sweet sincerity, her love of a clean house, her passion for music of all kinds, her warm smile, her strong supportive spirit, and her endless courage and hope.
Lori showed her strength and tireless faith during her eleven year battle with cancer. Thanks to Dr. Robert Gellar for his unconventional bedside manner, and for giving Lori hope and courage to continue on in her journey. Ironically, Lori passed away unexpectedly due to a car accident.
She is survived by her husband Stan; her daughters: Holly (Chris) Femal, Andrea (Tim) Peterson, and Tina Hischke; and many others who knew and loved her dearly.
A service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 a.m on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, W7265 School Road in Greenville. Rev. David Scharf will be officiating. A visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
