Loreen M. Musich

Loreen Musich, age 65, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton following a courageous battle with lung cancer. Her children were at her side. Loreen was born on February 20, 1946, in Cass Lake, Minnesota, daughter of Robert C. and Ethel (Hoplin) Chinn. Loreen retired from the Banta Corporation in 2004. For many years, she was an active member of Sacred Heart Church in Appleton.

Loreen enjoyed traveling, spending time with her grandchildren, and her special friend Dave Podlogar. She also enjoyed endless card games with her friends. She loved reading and doing cryptograms and Sudoku puzzles in her spare time.

Loreen will be missed by her loving family and friends, including her daughter: Cori Laux of Appleton; her son: Scott (Sara) Musich of Darboy; six grandchildren: Alex Laux, Morgan Laux, Grace Musich, Henry Musich, Isabelle Musich, and Oliver Musich; her mother: Ethel Chinn; two sisters: Trudy (Jay) Decker and Patti (Rodney) Erickson; two brothers: Bill (Sissy) Chinn and Ron (Judy) Chinn; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is further survived by her dear friends Barb, Mary, Sue, and Jeanne, and her special friend Dave. Loreen was preceded in death by her father, Robert C. Chinn and her sister, Roberta Roe.

The memorial mass for Loreen will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH, 222 E. Fremont Street in Appleton. Friends may call at the church on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until the hour of the service.
