SCHOLZ, LOIS MAE

Lois Mae Scholz, 73, of Chilton, passed away at Appleton Medical Center on May 1, 2010. Lois was born on March 17, 1937, in Chilton to the late Amandus and Marie (Seehawer) Bartel. Lois was a loving mother and grandmother, especially enjoying the time spent with her grandchildren. She always wore a smile, enjoyed dancing, cooking, snowmobiling and playing games with her grandchildren. Lois was a well-known waitress for many years at Chilton and Hilbert restaurants. She enjoyed the simple things of life and it was important for her to pass these values on to her children and grandchildren. Lois was steadfast and determined throughout her life. Survivors include her children, Brian (Michelle) Scholz; Bruce Scholz; Brad (Paula) Scholz; and Brenda Scholz; her grandchildren, Bobbie Jo, Billy, Jonathan, Joseph, Samantha, Evan and Eli; her sisters, Jeannie (Frankie) Kopecky and Karen (Glen) Boehnlein; and her sister-in-law, Shirley Bartel. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Lois was preceded in death by her brother, Gordon. Abiding by Lois's wishes, there will be no formal funeral ceremony.
