Age 69, died on March 16, 2001 at her home. Lois was born on July 31, 1932 in Sturgeon Bay, WI, daughter of the late Benjamin and Ann (Roy) Manney. She was employed at Wisconsin Bell for 25 years as a dispatch clerk, before retiring in 1991. Lois currently worked part-time at Walgreen’s. She was a longtime member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Lois volunteered her time at the Franciscan Care Center, through the Wisconsin Bell Pioneers. She will be missed by her daughter, Dawn Heilman, Madison; four sons, David (Barbara) Heilman, Manitowoc; Daniel Heilman, Luxembourg, WI; Duane Heilman, Vista, CA; Dale (Stephanie) Heilman, Sun Prairie; three sisters, Joyce (Earl) Shaw, Vista; Ann Gray; and Mary Lou Manney, both of Kenosha; and seven grandchildren, Samantha; Theodore, Matthew, Benjamin, Kelli, Keith and Tyler Heilman. Lois was preceded in death by her brother Benjamin. The Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21, 2001 at HIGHLAND MEMORIAL PARK, 3131 North Richmond Street, Appleton, with Father Mark Vander Steeg officiating. A visitation will not be held.
