Linda L. Wiegand

Linda L. Wiegand, 70, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, with her sister Cindy by her side. She was born on June 10, 1955, to her late parents Lloyd and Ellen (Haase) Huycke.

She was born in Milwaukee but grew up in California before relocating and finishing high school in Waupaca. She attended Fox Valley Technical College for her associates degree then went to Concordia to earn her bachelor’s degree. She had 2 wonderful sons.

Linda loved going to door county, especially for the shopping. She enjoyed going to the local craft shops. She also loved birdwatching. She loved her family more than anything. She also had a strong Christian faith.

She is survived by her sons: Jon (Erin) Wiegand, Tim (Erika) Van De Yacht, grandchildren: Jackson Neumann, Cailyn Van De Yacht, former husband Bob Wiegand, siblings: Cindy Sieg, David (Rhoda) Huycke, Daniel (Rhonda) Huycke, and Beth Berg, nieces: Lisa Sieg, Susan (Carlos) Arenas, and Jolene Fonk, close friends Terry Moore and Barb Kelderman, along with extended family.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents and her former husband Dennis Van De Yacht.

Services will take place at Appleton Alliance Church, 2693 Grand Chute Blvd, Appleton WI 54913. A visitation will be held from 10am -11am with a memorial service starting at 11am on January 31, 2026.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the ICU staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
