Lin Krablean, 73, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024, at ThedaCare Medical Center, Neenah. She was born on April 27, 1951, in Appleton, the daughter of Robert and Corrine (Martin) Dorschner. Lin was united in marriage to the love of her life, Frederick “Rick” Krablean on her favorite holiday, Valentines Day 1971 in Menasha. Lin was a devoted mother and grandmother, she enjoyed any time spent with family: crafting, camping, get togethers, photoshoots including the outtakes, vacations, holidays, and dying Easter eggs. She loved crafting, painting, making dough ornaments, hummingbirds, and her dogs. Lin will be remembered most for her contagious laugh and big smile. She was the glue to our family!
Lin is survived by her husband of 53 years: Frederick “Rick”; 2 children: Tina (Todd) Bruce and Fred (Sarah) Krablean; 5 grandchildren: Katie, Maddie, Kenzie, Freddie, and Parker; siblings: Debbie (Pat) Janssen, Bob (Kathy) Dorschner, and Gary Dorschner; sisters-in-law: Koko Green and Nancy Haga; other relatives and friends, especially all her great friends from Silver Springs Campground.
Lin was preceded in death by her parents; a sister: Diana Haga; an infant sister and an infant brother.
Memorial services will be at 3:00 pm, on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Laemmrich Chapel, 312 Milwaukee St., Menasha. Visitation will be on Saturday at the Laemmrich Chapel from 1:00 pm until the time of the service. Inurnment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the American Liver Foundation.
Lin’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the 5th floor staff at ThedaCare as well as the staff at ThedaCare at Home and Hospice for their kindness, care, and compassion.
