Linda Ann Tracey

August 2, 1945 — January 20, 2022

Linda Ann Tracey, 76, of Appleton, Wisconsin, formerly of New York, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 20, 2022. Linda was born on August 2, 1945 in Yonkers, New York to the late Thomas Tracey, Sr. and Vera (Ketterer) Tracey. Linda was a free spirit and lived a very interesting life. For part of her adult life, she lived in Manhattan and worked for Sagittarius Productions on Park Avenue in New York City. For a time, she also lived on Martha’s Vineyard and worked as a florist. Linda moved to Wisconsin in the 90’s to be closer to family and to help care for her mother. She worked at a photography studio and a women’s crisis center in Appleton for many years prior to her retirement.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Thomas Tracey Jr., her husband, Peter English, and her brother-in-law, Jim Patterson. She is survived by her sister, Pat Patterson, her sister-in-law, Rita Tracey, her nieces, Pam (Mike) Plamann, Gwen (Steve) Raehl, Tracey (Tom) Wargo, Summer Casucci, her nephews, Tim (Carmen) Patterson, Brook Tracey, their families, and her best friend, Jolie Secard.

A special thank you goes out to the staff of Parkside Senior Living in Neenah and Heartwood Senior Living in Appleton for their quality care. A private family gathering to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.

Linda had a passion for animals, and, if you wish, please make a donation, in her name, to Saving Paws Animal Rescue in Appleton.
