Age 89, died peacefully on Wednesday, May 12, 2004, at Oak Ridge Gardens Nursing Center, Menasha, following a short illness. Lillian was born on July 3, 1914, in Bark River, Michigan, and has been a Neenah resident for over 65 years. Lillian married the late Vincent P. Christensen on December 31, 1939. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Menasha. Survivors include her sisters, Constance Metko, Menasha, and Lola (Roy) Ness, Escanaba, Michigan, and numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A private family service will be held with Pastor Jennifer DeNetz officiating. Burial will be in the Appleton Highland Memorial Park. A memorial has been established to benefit Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1750 Midway Road, Menasha. The family extends a sincere thank you to the caregivers at Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center for their kind and compassionate care.
