Age 32, passed away unexpectedly at Appleton Medical Center on Monday, November 29, 2010. He was born in Aurora, CO on April 10, 1978 the son of Walter Frisk and Karen Jarrett. On July 21, 2007 he married Norma Murphy in Rome, GA. He was a life-long member of Dykes Creek Baptist Church in Rome, GA. Lester attended Fox Valley Technical College and earned a degree in welding. He enjoyed fishing, movies, video games, and especially his dog, “Anne Girl.” Lester will be remembered for his very dry sense of humor.
Lester is survived by his wife, Norma; parents: Walter Frisk of Appleton and Karen Jarrett of Kingston, GA; sisters: Pamela (Clay) Moore of Kingston, GA, Laura (Christopher) Green of Rome, GA and Katherine Marie Frisk of Coates, NC; maternal grandmother, Nancy Frisk of Waupaca, WI; nephew, Kyle Green of Rome, GA; step-sisters: Teryn Jarrett of Douglasville, GA and Sydney Jarrett of Rome, GA; step-brothers: Jeremy and Dylan Wochinski, both of New London, WI; step-father, Stephen Jarrett of Kingston, GA; very good friend, Jeremy Stewart of Rockmart, GA; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Dorothy and Delmer Russell, and Jon Frisk; and step-brother, Cody Wochinski.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 3, 2010 at the Wichmann Funeral Home. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
The family extends a special thank you to the staff at Appleton Medical Center for their understanding and compassionate care.
A memorial fund in Lester's name is being established.
