Buss, Leonard D.

Leonard Daniel Buss, age 85, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 24, 2009. He was born in the Township of Grant, Wisconsin on June 12, 1923, the son of the late John and Adelia (Luchterhand) Buss. Leonard married his loving wife, Germaine Rindt, on August 16, 1947. He worked for Kimberly Clark in Neenah at the Lakeview Plant for 38 years. Leonard also was owner and operator of The Hillbilly Club in Marion, Wisconsin for 10 years. He loved mowing the grass and working in his garage. Leonard was a proud family man who enjoyed spending time with his loved ones, especially at The Woods. Leonard was an Army veteran, who honorably served his country during World War II.

Leonard is lovingly survived by his wife, Germaine Buss, children: Sandy Williams, Judy Buss, Tom (Karen) Buss, John (Kathy) Buss, Tim (Mellissa) Buss; grandchildren: Brenda (Brad) Bunnell, Tammy (Randy) Brehm, Robert (Roberta) Buss, Kathy (James) Craven, Ann (Chad) Hofmann, Andrew, Ashley and Kelly Buss, Willis Buss and his fiancé, Angela Steno, Kasey Buss, Crystal Buss, Marrissa Buss, AJ Robinson, Allison Buss, Dean Kroening, Scott Kroening, Gregory Kroening; great-grandchildren: Alexis and Brett Hofmann, Nick, Brandon and Nicole Brehm, Morgan, Gabby, Kendall, Gavin, Cameron, Austin Buss and Dejuan Cameron, Hunter and Amber Bunnell and Trevor, Jamie and Justin Craven; brother, Lester Buss and sisters-in-law: Millie Buss and Beverly Siebert. Leonard is preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Buss, brothers: Arvin (Dorothy) Buss, Delmar Buss, Daniel (Mernie) Buss; great-grandsons: Jason Bunnell, Jesse Brehm, Sam Buss and brother-in-law, Jack Siebert.

A private funeral service for Leonard will be held by his family.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
