Laurice Lorenz

Mrs. Laurice Lorenz, of Kaukauna, age 76, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2009 at her home with her family at her side. She was born on July 17, 1932 in Otis, Maine, the daughter of the late Roland and Erma (Jordan) Salisbury. On June 10, 1952 she married Kennith Lorenz in Naha Okinawa. Laurice served in the U.S. Army and was a faithful member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Kaukauna. Over the years, Ken and Laurice were dedicated foster parents to eight children. She enjoyed homemaking, quilting and loved being with her family.

Laurice is survived by her husband: Kennith Lorenz, Kaukauna; three daughters: Anita (Wayne) Dietsch, Luxemburg; Linda (Mark) Bucholtz, Detroit, Michigan and Vickie Lorenz, Kaukauna; her son: Robert (Donna) Lorenz, Rosehill, Kansas; six grandchildren: Wayne II and Christin Dietsch; Melissa and Heather Bucholtz; Ken and Aaron Lorenz; two great-grandchildren: Wayne III Dietsch and Trinity Lorenz; two brothers: Roland Jr. (Allison) Salisbury and Richard (Virginia) Salisbury of Maine and her sister-in-law: Clara Salisbury, Maine. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Laurice was preceded in death by her brothers: Kenneth (Arlene), Raymond, Errold (Peggy) and Lysle (Amelia) Salisbury and sisters: Marion (Horace) Sargent and Eleanor (Donald) Coffin.

The Christian Funeral Service for Laurice will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at TRINITY EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 804 Grignon Street, Kaukauna. Rev. Mark Luetzow will be officiating. Burial will take place at the church cemetery. The visitation will be held on Wednesday at the church from 9:00 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society are appreciated.
