Kim Thompson, age 68, passed peacefully on the morning of August 15, 2025, at Dimensions Living in Appleton. Kim was born on October 8, 1956, in Appleton WI to Norbert and Donna (Glaser) Holewinski. She was raised in Menasha with her two siblings. Kim met David Thompson at the 206 Club in Menasha and they kindled a friendship that turned into more. They married on February 20, 1993.

Kim enjoyed the time she spent working at PDQ, the customers there became as friends. Over the years she also developed many wonderful friendships with people from the 206 Club.

Kim is survived by her husband of 32 years David, her step-children: Jeremiah (Tara) Thompson, Amanda Thompson, Danielle (Lawrence) Harris; step grandchildren: Wyatt, Lilly, Paislee, Skylar, and Aliyana. She is further survived by her brother Mark Holewinski as well as special niece and nephew Angie (Chad) and Lee (Sarah) along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Norbert (Helen) Holewinski and Donna Holewinski and her sister Gail (Ben) Barker.

A memorial service for Kim will take place on Sunday August 24, 2025, at 1:00pm at Wichmann Funeral Home, Laemmrich Chapel, 312 Milwaukee Street, Menasha, followed by a light lunch. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home from 11:00am until the service begins. Kim will be privately interred at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
