Kerry Lynn Hoelzel

Kerry Lynn Hoelzel (Strong) lost her battle with lung cancer on December 28, 2021.

Kerry was born on May 24, 1970 in Appleton, daughter of Arthur and Shirley (Orlando) Strong.

She went to Hortonville High School and graduated in “1988.”

Kerry loved caring for others, she enjoyed her work working with the elderly.

Kerry is survived by her husband, Peter J. Hoelzel; mother-in-law and father-in-law (whom have treated her like a daughter), John and Nancy Hoelzel; son, Taylor (April) Broehm; grandchildren, Axel, Destiny, and Ethan (Carleigh); siblings, Dan (Sherrie) Strong, Tony (Delaura) Strong, and Kelly (Ken) Foegen; brother-in-law, Eric (Renee) Hoezel; aunts, and uncles, and many nieces and nephews.

Kerry was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Shirley Strong; grandparents, Tony and Sarah Orlando, and Elmer and Nora Strong; and many aunts and uncles.

There will be a service held for Kerry on Thursday, January 6, at 7 pm, at the Wichman Tri County Funeral Home, 1592 Oneida St, Menasha. There will be a visitation prior from 5 pm to 7 pm.

The family wishes to thank Theda Care Hospice for all of their compassionate care, as well as a special thank you to Rachel, Jen, and Brenda.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
